So, I have a new hobby: photography. My fiancée’s father is a keen photographer, and I’ve always appreciated a good photograph. But I’ve never had a decent camera. My phone has proved adequate for everyday pictures, for posting photos of my dinner on Facebook (I don’t actually do that), or pics of our rabbit, Starbuck, etc. But it isn’t great. It’s a Moto G5. Decent smartphone, but not a truly great camera as far as taking high quality pictures goes.
I invested in a bridge camera. The Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ82. Excellent quality, when you know what you’re doing. I don’t, but here’s a one-colour photograph of a purple balloon dog I managed to take:

Hopefully I’ll get some better photos to share when I start figuring out all the settings and things like shutter speed, aperture, and so on.
Any photographers out there? Tips and links to helpful sites very much appreciated.
